C.C. Designs tutorial
Hi everyone! It's Meg here today, and I'm sharing with you a creepy-cute bat design.
For my project, I started by coloring in the bats from the new Bat & Spider stamp set. I wanted them to glow, so I added some YG to the mix.
For those of you who are nervous about trying this kind of glow, just add some YG00 to your highlight areas. It works like a charm!
To create the background of my design, I wanted a spooky moon with lots of black "mess". So, I first applied Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron Distress Oxides to create my moon, then used an acrylic block to pick up the Black Soot. I spritzed my block with water before smearing the black around my paper.
You can also add some extra water sprinkles or white gel pen to add texture to the black.
