Meet Dahlia
Wow...2 posts in one day! That's a first for me! This week is going to be busy for me, and I have to get 2 entries in to The Greeting Farm's Feb Farm Fresh Challenge. More chances to win some farm bucks to spend on my favorite stamps!
Here's a little box I made for a gift set of 3" notes. Sometimes it's so much easier to write a bitty note to say "thank you" rather than having to fill up a big page. And yet it still means a lot, especially since it's hand made. I colored up Dahlia with my Prismacolor pencils on Kraft paper (love that effect, don't you?), fussy cut her out, and popped her up on the box covered with some scrap paper and twine. The sentiment is from OA - My Favorite Things. I'm showing her below with the box open so you can see the rosy envelopes that match with the box cover. So cute!
Here's an initial pic I took of the box closed, but then I realized I forgot to color her tights...Oops!
Thanks for popping over today!
