Feeling Festive

Anyone else out there eagerly awaiting the Autumn holidays, and...PIE?! In my corner of the world, 🍗 Thanksgiving 🍗 is a real feast and the crowning part of it is - pie! Pumpkin! Apple! Cherry! Pecan! The list can go ON! I rarely allow myself to indulge, but this season is really quite incomplete without PIE. 🍏🍒🍗

I've used 🍏 Marci with Apples 🍏 as the main character in my project for La-La Land Crafts today, as well as lots of new products from the October release! So, if you think...hmmm, she looks familiar...." that's because she is a prior Club Kit gal!, and I introduced her to you last year HERE. Her look today is a bit different though - check out her headband (not hat) and scarf! 🍏

It was easy to create the PIE using letters from the 🚢 Cruise Word Die. And honestly, all the dies I chose for this project were perfect for layering. TIP: you can use a solid color background beneath your Apple Pie die to create different types of pie. I chose a gold base for 🍏 apple pie 🍏, but red would be perfect for 🍒 cherry 🍒, brown perfect for pecan or chocolate, etc. And YES, I am obsessed with pie. 🍒 🍏 🍒

Another TIP for today: If you don't have sequins at the ready, it's easy to use the tiny apples from the Apple Orchard Die as colorful accents to your project!
